Hello, I'm your new Athletic Director Athletic Director and Coach Ken Erenberg draws on 27 years of experience as an athletic director, overseeing middle and high school sports programs.
Erenberg has won over 550 games as a head coach in his career to date, including twelve high school titles, and has been named Coach of the Year 14 times by CIF leagues including the Omega, Alpha, and Delphic Leagues, and the Gold Coast Conference.
“I have been working with athletes for over 30 years. During this time, I’ve coached almost every sport, and have won titles in football, basketball, soccer, volleyball, softball, baseball and tennis,” Erenberg said. “I’ve helped more than 50 students receive Division I scholarships, and I am looking forward to bringing my knowledge to the Palm Valley School”
Erenberg was president and co-founder of the Santa Clarita Athletic Independent League and has served as compliance officer and league coordinator for the CIF Omega League. He played college soccer at the University of Evansville, and holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from California State University, Northridge and a Masters Degree in Education.
Erenberg has also taught History, English, Speech and Debate, and Journalism.
Erenberg worked as a television producer running the sports desk at KABC News from 1991 to 1994. He has created sports programs at four Community Centers across the Los Angeles area.
